MAKE THAT MOVE

Many people say that they are waiting for God, but in most cases, God is waiting for them. The point is – make that move!

Edmund Burke warned:

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

That is how terrible it could be for those who spend their precious time waiting for the right moment in time to either strike or make that monumental move that can change your destiny for good. Do not think it twice, just make that move!

If a lazy person is termed as one who doesn’t go through life but pushes through it (life), then it is high time you eliminated the ancestral rule of “Procrastination” and embrace the biblical principle of “Action speaks louder than words.”

Thus, the cost of growth is always less than the cost of stagnation. Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried. Lest MindFit Hypnosis define procrastination thus:

Related imageProcrastination is the practice of carrying out less urgent tasks in preference to more urgent ones, or doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable ones, and thus putting off impending tasks to a later time. In order for a behavior to be classified as procrastination: it must be counterproductive, needless, and delaying. Similarly, it is “to voluntarily delay an intended course of action despite expecting to be worse off for the delay.”

Have you ever asked yourself why you are still at the level you are today?

The fact that you are (dutifully) bust does not necessary mean that you are progressing. Some people are extremely busy that they ended up being stagnant. Yet they believe that they are making a move.

How can you keep talent on your team?

Literally, by “moving”, it means that you are adding up; adding values (to yourself and others), and accomplishing great feats. John Mason quipped:

The mistake most people make is thinking that the main goal of life is to stay busy. This is a trap. What is important is not whether you are busy but whether you are progressing; the question is one of activity versus accomplishment.

Fear is a barricade that is ephemeral but that only exists in the imagination: of those who are not conscious of the God they serve. And this syndrome affects the will-power to make a move that will change life for the best.

Be encouraged by this fact rooted in the book of Matthew: With God all things core possible. For all that has made a delicate change in the world are those that made the move, even in the face of fears, discomforts and condemnation. The likes of Charles Darrow, Cicero, Plato, Gibbon, Noah Webster, Michael Faraday, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Alico Dangote, including you (if you have done something worthwhile or breath-taking before).

“Noise produces nothing. Often a hen who has merely laid an egg crackle as though she has laid an asteroid.” – says Mark Twain.

Even John Mason says it better thus:

We should be known as those who accomplish great things for God – not as those who simply talk about it. Procrastinations are good at talking, not doing.

The bottom line is that you need to defile all odds of doubts and excuses and start making that move. The reward could be far-fetched and mesmerising. This is a better way to ignite the spirit of healthy lifestyle.
