You must have heard oftentimes that as a man thinketh (in his heart) so he is. This embellishes the power of the thought to the function of the mind. The mind I refer to here is not that “Carnal” kind but that which is purely “spiritual”. The reason is that the carnal mind dies; Romans 8:6, –
“For to be carnally minded is death;”

The (spiritual) mind plays a predominant role in the formation of thoughts.
Thought are pictures of the mind with constructive or destructive possibilities functioning with or within human emotions. What it means is that they (thoughts) have the ability to influence your emotions.
According to Wikipedia,
Thought refers to ideas or arrangements of ideas that are the result of the process of thinking. Though thinking is an activity considered essential to humanity, there is no consensus as to how it is defined or understood.
Everything (ideas) processed by the mind is a total sum of the thoughts (Thinking mentality and mechanism). Whenever you think something evil, it transformed inside your mind into am impulse which manifests in the physical. The point is that you should learn to use your mind right, you’ve got to be conscious of the truth that you have a sound mind.
God has given us a free gift of sound mind. This translates to mean that all the processed thought yours have positivity buried inside it no matter the circumstance; 2 Timothy 1:7; –
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of POWER, and of a SOUND MIND.”
Imagine if all your years of growing up, your parents always told you that you had a sound mind, instead of telling you that you were a “pig-headed, good-for-nothing”. Imagine that whenever you did something wrong or messed up, they correct you in love, and told you not to act that way, because you have a sound mind. Just imagine what that would have done for our confidence and self-image growing up.

The onion of this post for you to start declaring to yourself as from today; “My mind is sharp, and I’m sound. I’m super-intelligent and excellent.” It is true that people will say a lot of things about you or see you as a proud (braggadocious) fellow. Yet, the truth is that the confirmation of those words spoken to your inner self would bear forth fruits of positivity and silence every negative uprising in your mind. Remember it was by the power of the words (from God’s mouth) that the world was formed. Little wonder the bible admonished that you should learn to tame your tongue because out it comes to the power of life and death.
Altogether, you’re powerful, loving and have a sound mentality. Therefore, do not allow anybody to see and says less of you or you giving the devil an opportunity to waylay you and rob you of this precious gift. Always use this weapon in your ordnance depot to transform your life and your world. Shalom.
