If the axiom “what is worth doing at all is worth doing well”, then it is gainsaying to boldly commend the effort of RHODA YOUTH CENTRE towards empowering youths with the entrepreneurship skills that can make them contribute to the growth and development of the nation – Nigeria.
Without doubt, RHODA YOUTH CENTRE has been able to live up to its expectation as required by God “Go ye into the world and be fruitful and multiply”. This is evidence as a lot of young people have been blessed, inspired and trained to be more productive to face general life issues with a winner mind-set. Thus, youths who have passed through the FREE TRAINING INSTITUTION are daily becoming more reliant and responsible, which is a plus to the healthy development of the society and the nation at large.
Without mincing words, the 9th of March, 2018 was a special day in the history of RHODA
YOUTH CENTRE, having been in existence for over four years. This day witnessed the official graduation ceremony of a student from the department of VIDEO EDITING AND CAMERA HANDLING.

OLUWASEYI OLATOKUN started her VIDEO EDITING career at RHODA YOUTH
CENTRE – a.k.a DREAMLAND – with no idea of what tomorrow holds for her. Even with no clue of what it would turn out to be, she pushed herself through the tedious process of becoming a videographer and photographer. She related her experience within the first-three month thus:

There are times when tears shows how emotional people are at the sight of something impossible yet surmounted. This was the experience of OLUWASEYI OLATOKUN as she narrated her story before special guests in attendance to rejoice with her. It was a thing of joy to start something and see it growing over-time. The tears authenticated the value of RHODA YOUTH CENTRE to building youths and empowering them with the technical know-how of entrepreneurship and leadership.
Honestly, the vision of the Executive Directors of the Non-Governmental Organisation, established in 2014, MR. ROTIMI EROGBOGBO and MRS. TOSAN EROGBOGBO was this day painted in the heart of guests as they were awestruck by the magnificence of things the organisation has done within this space of time – training youths at ZERO COST, empowering them with EQUIPMENT to get started after graduation, and allowing youths use the building that should have been generation MILLIONS of naira annually for the owners.
To crown the excitement, OLUWASEYI OLATOKUN registered her appreciation on the Guinness record of the Institution and received the certificate of completion of the Six Months Training Programme. Her words:
“I heartily appreciate God for His grace upon my journey in life. I equally want to thank my fiancé for introducing me to RHODA YOUTH CENTRE. He’s always persisting that I should engage in something meaningful; asking me what I’d like to do. Then I told him that I’d love to become a video editor and photographer because I have passion for anything that has to do with editing. That was how I got introduced to Rhoda Youth Centre. I thank the administrator of the organisation, MRS. IDOWU OREOLUWA, who has always taught us how to be punctual, discipline and time conscious. She usually looks us out whenever we arrived late at school because she has warned us severally to always be time conscious. I have to appreciate the effort of MR. AND MRS. EROGBOGBO, a.k.a Mummy and Daddy Rhoda, for giving us, the youths, the opportunity and privilege to be empowered at ZERO COST. God bless you. And my mother, who supported me throughout my stay, may God continue to bless you.”
Moreover, the Executive Director of the Organisation, MRS. TOSAN EROGBOGBO presented the graduate, OLUWASEYI OLATOKUN, the certificate while the Vice Chairperson of Ikorodu Local Government, HON. PRINCESS FOLASHADE OLABANJI-OBA made a short prayer for the alumnus.
